The hierarchical distinctions can be illustrated using Commercial focus: 1. A business partner operating at an executive level would view commercial focus as 'understands the business priorities and can align HR to them'. 2. Or a business partner operating at a more junior level would view this competency as 'the business priorities and dynamics are thoroughly understood'. 3. At a specialist business partner level it would be viewed as 'appreciates the commercial work in which he/she operates' |
