HR professionals in transition to the business partner role need the same levels of support as any group undertaking significant change, notably clear and supportive leadership
HR leaders play a critical role in ensuring that business partners deliver in line with the expectations that they, business partners and line managers have committed to support HR leaders in this change, this stage:
- provides the management tools that enable business partners to be directed and managed in a way that is more closely linked to the achievement of business results
- creates feedback mechanisms for understanding stakeholder perceptions of the change
- provide coaching to HR leaders so they, in turn, can role model the management of high performance to business partners
